Help for Haiti
On January 12th, 2010, a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the impoverished island nation of Haiti causing catastrophic damage and massive fatalities Many in Sault-algoma want to assist in relief efforts for haiti. There are local organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, and the Canadian Red Cross which are helping. Both of these organizations will accept online donations through their websites:
