SAULT STE. MARIE – Sprinting towards the end of the election campaign, Tony Martin urged the voters of Sault St. Marie to choose the hope and leadership they can trust. From the start of the campaign, Martin has been raising issues important to families while the other parties have attacked.

“For too long, the old parties pushed our family’s priorities to the end of the line. Worse, they told us nothing could really change” said Martin. “But they were wrong –tomorrow’s vote can change Ottawa forever.”

Harper broke that promise. As a result, our hospitals are overcrowded. Too many Canadians have no doctor. Local emergency rooms too frequently shut down on some weekends.

SAULT STE. MARIE—Conservative candidate Bryan Hayes has picked the wrong economist to try and prove his point.
Hayes falsely claims the New Democrat Plan for cap-and-trade would make gas more expensive, but the economist he uses to back up his claim, University of Calgary Professor Jack Mintz, has subsequently had to admit he didn’t understand the New Democrat proposal.

Tony Martin Hosts Richard’s Landing Town Hall

SAULT STE. MARIE -- Imagine a government plan for rural health care that serves everyone.
This Saturday, everyone is welcome to join Tony Martin, provincial Ontario New Democrat Health Critic France Gelinas (Nickel Belt) and area health care experts for a Town Hall Meeting on rural healthcare. The meeting is at the Richard’s Landing Town Hall which is downtown, across from the Post Office, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
